Looking forward to 2022, the Board agreed to plan for the biggest fundraiser of the year, Pouring Over Books.

This event is held at a local venue and the community buys tickets to come out and enjoy wine, curated teas, and tasty bites prepared by a local restaurant.

The local favorites, The Hill Country Ramblers, are planning to delight us with their music again.

And, we all enjoy hearing from a Texas author as we enjoy our beverages, snacks, and music. Two years ago, Ben Rehder, author of numerous mysteries set in Austin and Blanco County, generously shared his creative process with us. 

Last year, we held a virtual event, and acclaimed author Joe Nick Patoski and musician Craig Hillis graciously entertained and informed an appreciative audience.

Each year, area residents and businesses contribute items for a popular auction and community businesses offer their support with their sponsorships.

In addition, local wine lovers join the Friends at the Wine Divas Donor Level and are invited to a special evening to choose the wine selection for the main event. If you’d like to participate, just choose the Wine Diva membership for $300.00 annually when you join the Friends.

We don’t have a date or location for the 2022 event which is traditionally held at the end of February, however, keep an eye out for more news of this popular local event.
