The Friends of the Library Board has been meeting virtually, since March, making plans for the future.

The Dripping Springs Founders Day was canceled but current plans from the City are Christmas on Mercer will be held in downtown Dripping Springs on Saturday, December 5, 2020, from 10 am to 5 pm. Admission is free.

The all-day celebration will have arts/crafts and business vendor booths, but there will be fewer vendor booths sold. This way, organizers can space them out to make shopping safe and ensure that CDC and State guidelines will be followed.

The Friends will have a booth to share our mission with the community and to sell some used books. We need children’s books in very good condition, for all ages. We ran out of kids’ materials quickly at our last sale.

Please bring donations to the Sententia Vera Cultural Hub, 4002 E. Hwy 290, corner of Sunset Canyon and Hwy. 290. Please stop by Monday-Friday, 10 am – 5 pm. Saturday 10 am- 2 pm. You can also email Cindy at vicepresident@fodscl.org to arrange a drop-off time and location.
