Our impact
Every dollar spent benefits our library
Not a regional fund, not a national charity, not an office somewhere. The money the Friends raise in Dripping Springs is spent in Dripping Springs, on the library at 501 Sportsplex Drive.

Three ways we show the library matters
We use it
Borrowing a book, bringing a child to storytime, booking the meeting room. Usage is what a library is judged on, and it is the easiest thing anyone can do.
We volunteer
Sorting donations, running the sales, setting up events. The Friends have no paid staff, so every hour given is an hour the library does not have to pay for.
We fundraise
Book sales, sponsorships, events and donations. This is the money that pays for the things a public budget will not stretch to.
The events that fund it
See our eventsThese, plus the occasional special, are where the money comes from.
