Every dollar stays in Dripping Springs

The Friends are a volunteer-run 501(c)(3). Nobody here draws a salary, so what you give goes to library programs, equipment and events.

How to donate books

Become a Friend

An annual membership supports the library year-round and brings invitations to what we run.

Double your gift

Does your employer match donations?

Plenty of employers will match what their staff give to a registered charity, which doubles your donation at no extra cost to you. Many corporate matching programs run through Benevity — search for us by name or by our EIN, 74-2888129.

Receipts and tax

Friends of the Dripping Springs Community Library, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Our EIN is 74-2888129, and donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Zeffy emails a receipt for every online gift. Keep it — the IRS requires a written acknowledgment for any single gift of $250 or more. Where a donation or sponsorship includes something in return, such as event tickets, the receipt states the deductible portion separately.
