Most recent event. On Sunday, January 14, 2018 at the home of Marshall and Betty Kuykendall the Wine Divas held their all-important wine selection event. This is when they do a blind tasting to select the wines to be presented at Pouring Over Books. If you or a friend have any interest in supporting the Friends of the Library by becoming a Wine Diva, this event is the premier event to attend.
Recent events. In October, 2017 Jaime and Doris Molina hosted a recruiting party at their home. The theme was “the quest for the perfect Malbec,” inspired by Mike Cowell. We tasted a bunch and the hands down winner was Norton 2014 Malbec Reserva. We also invited several prospective Divas to join our ranks and a good time was had by all, witness the slide show below.

A little history. In 2015, a few ladies put their heads together to figure a way to increase support for Pouring Over Books, our annual meet-the-author wine tasting. Deciding to take on the task of selecting the wines to be presented at the event, they recruited a few of their friends, and the Wine Divas were born. Having each contributed $300 to become a Wine Diva, with spouses in tow, they gathered on October 15, 2015 to fulfill the awesome responsibility of wine selection. Everyone had a great time, and the wines featured at Pouring Over Books were well received. The Wine Divas were successfully launched.
