The Friends operate under the direction of a volunteer board of directors.  The officers and other board members and their terms of office are listed below.

President – John Hoag.  First elected February 16, 2016.  Second term began March 1, 2018 and expires with the annual meeting in 2020.
Vice President – Peter Durkin.  First elected February 16, 2016, to fulfill the unexpired term of outgoing Vice President, Karen Crowther.  Current term began March 30, 2017 and expires with the annual meeting in 2019.
Secretary – Alyssa Weinstein.  Voted onto the Board February 22, 2018.  Term expires with the annual meeting in 2020.
Treasurer – William V. “Bill” O’Donnell.  Voted onto the Board March 30, 2017.  Term expires with the annual meeting in 2019.
 At large Board members (3 year terms)
Teresa Carbajal Ravet – Voted onto the Board August 25, 2016.  Term expires with the annual meeting in 2019.
Laurie O’Donnell – Voted onto the Board March 30, 2017.  Term expires with the annual meeting in 2020.
Chloe Price – Voted onto the Board November 9, 2017.  Term expires with the annual meeting in 2020
Martha Brown – Voted onto the Board March 22, 2018.  Term expires with the annual meeting in 2021
 Our By-Laws provide for eleven members of the Board: four officers plus up to seven Members At Large.  Our goal is to have a diverse board with a passion for our mission of raising funds for the library and promoting its value as an important community resource.  We are an active, working board that meets monthly.
